If you haven't looked at DAZ Studio in a while or are just getting into playing around with 3D, you might want to check out DAZ' flagship rendering and animation application, DAZ Studio 3.
Quite a few new features and tweaks are in the new version, including a touch-up to the render engine and visible cues for light sources. The advanced (pay for) version has a dazzling toolbox of new things to play with including shader "bricks", figure mixing and 64 bit support (windows).
However, every software can use some tweaks and DAZ offers an easy way for you to report bugs and request features, through it's bug tracker system (Under the Help menu).
One feature request that has been gaining some momentum is adding the ability for DAZ Studio 3 to save out version 2 files. Currently, DS 3 will read (more or less) older files but will not write them, which I think is important during this transition period.
